DB case kerfed and shaped   Kerfs coved    Case removed - spacers

A big week with the construction of the daggerboard cases. Each side, having been glued and kerfed,  is fitted to the daggerboard with spacers in place ( see picture three ). The kerf cuts then have coving mix forced into them to keep the shape.

Both sides fitted            Both sides fitted2

Both sides fitted3           Both sides fitted4

Both sides are then refitted to the daggerboard for final shaping and coving.
